AsCon Expert Speak || AsCon Expert Speak || COVID 19 and Multilateralism: ASEAN Responses to the Pandemic || Dr. Vijay Sakhuja, Consultant, Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) "Expert Speak" is a virtual platform under Asian Confluence Web Series Program to associate and engage with eminent experts for their insights on the COVID-19 world and beyond; on contentious issues like development funding, connectivity, trade, strategic and security cooperation with particular emphasis on the Bay of Bengal region with Northeast India at its epicenter. Speaker Profile: Dr. Vijay Sakhuja is former Director, National Maritime Foundation, New Delhi. He is currently Consultant, Vivekananda International Foundation, New Delhi and Visiting Senior Fellow, Cambodia Institute for Cooperation and Peace, (CICP) Phnom Penh. He has been on the research faculty and was associated with a number of think tanks: Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS), Singapore; Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Singapore; Director (Research), Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA); Centre for Airpower Studies (CAPS); Observer Research Foundation (ORF); Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), and United Service Institution of India (USI).
